Why Moov exists

Every running app assumes you already run.

Leaderboards, segments, race plans. Built for people who crossed the hardest threshold long ago. Moov is built for the threshold itself: the weeks when the only thing that matters is whether you moved today.

How it works

A coach that meets you where you are.

  1. 01

Tell it your barriers, not your goals.

Time, past attempts, niggles, confidence. Moov builds around your real life, not a target pace.

  2. 02

    Move. Any length. Any pace.

A ten-minute walk counts the same as a run. Every session ends with a moment that says: that counts.

  3. 03

Miss a week. Come back. No penalty.

A forgiving weekly rhythm instead of a daily streak to protect. Returning is rewarded, not shamed.

Who it's for

First time, or the fifth time back.

Never run before?

Wondering whether your body can even do this. It can, at whatever pace it wants to today. Moov starts with walking if that's right, and never rushes you.

Used to run, then life happened?

No comparison to who you were. No plan that assumes you're already fit. Just an easy way back in, as many times as you need it.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is Moov for beginners?

Yes. Moov is built for people who have decided to move more and are still working out how to make it stick. If you have never run, or you used to and stopped, you are exactly who it is for.

Do I have to run? Can I walk?

You can walk. A walk counts as a session in exactly the same way a run does. Moov never asks you to go faster or further than feels right today.

Does Moov track pace and distance?

It measures your session so your coach can adapt, but it never shows you a pace to beat or a leaderboard to climb. What you see is whether you showed up, and how you felt.

What happens if I miss a week?

Nothing bad. Your weekly target quietly adjusts, and coming back after a break is treated as the most important thing you can do, not a failure.

How much does it cost?

Tracking and encouragement are free. A personalised plan tuned to your time, body and confidence is £4.99 a month, with a free trial first.

Is it a Couch to 5K app?

You can work towards a first 5K or 10K inside Moov if you want to, but there is no finish line and no nine-week clock. The point is a habit that lasts, at your pace.

Just keep moving.
